Long-sleeved shirts, gloves (when my cuts hadn't spread all the way to my shoulder.)Do you know why you started? Random shit in my life. It made me feel better, and I liked the feeling. Do your parents know about your self injury? Unfortunately yes
If so, are they supportive? At least they're trying to be. But they don't understand that I don't WANT to stop.
How did they find out? Saw my cuts.
Do other family members, friends, others know about your self injury? My cousin and actually all my friends. Other relatives - no way.
If so, how did they find out? I told em.
Do you like looking at pictures? Why or why not? Hell yes. They're beautiful. Pretty triggering, though. I don't see that as a bad thing.
Have you ever tried to commit suicide? A few times half-heartedly.
What happened? Overdoses, alcohol, cutting. Not my wrists though, and that's where I made the mistake. I lost quite a bit of blood though.
What do you like better: cuts, scars, or both? Both.
Do you have an experience with self injuring you would like to share? I sat in hot shower. The bathroom was dark, except for a candle. The door locked even though nobody was home. I felt safe, I felt calm. Just me and the blade.
Is there anything else you want to say? It's a problem only if you make it one. If you want to quit, get help. If you don't, it's your choice.
